Harness (LizP)
LizP - Would you mind telling what harnesses your guys have in your avatar, especially Millie ?
I have a rabbitgoo adjustable harness which I rather like.
But I don't like the elastic inserts as I'm worried that they'll finish by breaking, at the stitching or the elastic itself.
Not very keen on the julius k9 as they seem a bit bulky and Nifty likes to roll on the floor so worried she'd wiggle out of it. Same thing for the wonder harness.
Any recommendations ?
Thanks in advance

I know this is for Liz but we bought Gus the julius k9 and its brilliant. Gus loves to roll about and there is no way he is getting out of it.

Re: Harness (LizP)
I'll add my tuppence worth, Flo came back from her surgery wearing a Cosydogs harness which we have been using ever since as it's very simple and quick to put on and looks super comfy. Not tried with a Staffy pulling though so can't vouch for that side of things but here's their web site in case you fancy a look https://www.cosydogs.com/harnesses-shop/dog-harnesses.html

Re: Harness (LizP)
The way the Julius K9 harnesses are fitted it's very difficult for a dog to rub themselves out of it. There could be a problem (as with most harnesses) with pulling backwards, but if you go back to your dog rather than hauling on the lead it shouldn't happen. They're not actually as bulky as they look, once they're on they pretty lightweight but very strong.

Re: Harness (LizP)
I think Liz has the same one we have for Hank which is the Ezydog, I really like them and easy to put on and no pull

Re: Harness (LizP)
Millie's is an Ezydog chestplate harness, so just like Hank's!
To be honest, though, I prefer Chaos's as it's softer.

I know what you mean about the bulk look of the Julius K9. I know people rate them but I prefer something less obtrusive.
We used to have a Cosydog for Harley. The only problem we had with it was when it got wet - the fleece seems to hold water more than webbing or neoprene. Otherwise a lovely comfy harness.

Thanks for all of your suggestions.
The Aodoor looks alot like my rabbitgoo but can you tell me if there are also elastic inserts in the straps ?

Re: Harness (LizP)
Yes. There's a short elastic bit where the chest plate meets the chest straps.
They do look very similar!

Re: Harness (LizP)
Quick update - Aodoor arrived today as Nifty has (already) outgrown the rabbitgoo. It is very similar indeed but there is no front ring (which I attach her tag to) and it is alot less padded so more supple.
This will give me time to measure for cosydog as they look great too.
At around what age can staffies be considered to be adult sized (or unlikely to grow alot more) ?

Re: Harness (LizP)
It's a nice harness, isn't it? And fairly reasonably priced compared to some of the bigger brand names. Chaos's tag is attached to the main back ring and we've not had a problem with it (yet!).
Nifty's got a way to go before he stops growing, they can bulk out well beyond the time that they stop growing height wise. It does vary, but maybe 2 years old or so.
