Maxi's first night alone
Hello, Up till now I have just wanted to be around her at night so tonight shes staying on her own in the living room so far it's been about 20 mins and no noises so I'm hoping it keeps this way

Hop e it is a quiet night for you,. Did you put her in a crate or just limit her to the one room?

Re: Maxi's first night alone
That may work out well for you since she won't have to whine if she needs to use the bathroom.

Re: Maxi's first night alone
Her bladder control should start to improve at the 4 or 5 month mark. Suki was holding it through the night (about 8 hours) a little before she turned 6 months.

Re: Maxi's first night alone
I think crate training acutally improves bladder control and usually crate trained dogs will go through the night very early. My kaos was gong from around 11pm till 7am at about 14 weeks x

yes it'snormal for them to get hiccups.Jett got them all the time when he was maxi's age because he wolfed his food down.
He still gets them now and again but he's learnt to eat his food slowly now

Re: Maxi's first night alone
You can try putting a tennis ball or other object in her bowl at feeding time. This will slow her eating down and should help with the hiccups.
