Cats: Untested, but can be tested upon request.
Children: Although he has never lived with children, he is friendly towards them

My name is Boss and I'm ten years young. I am a beautiful brindle boy with a very cute face and the most amazing French Bulldog looking bat ears.

Kennels was quite a big shock for me after being in a home all my life. I am sad and I've lost a bit of weight. But I'm still a friendly happy boy with my walkers.

I walk well on the lead, I don't pull and I'm good in the car and at the vets. I am crate trained although I like you do leave the door open but I'm sure I would get more used to this in time.

I'm also a good boy with other dogs and prefer to ignore them if they bark at me. I turn away nice and submissive. And I'm house trained. My walkers say I'm perfect really!

I'm a bit deaf (or perhaps selective hearing!!). As I hear the treat jar! I love the garden and also tennis balls. I will carry one round for my whole walk if you let me. I'm a quirky little fella and a wee bit stubborn but very lovable all the same.

I have spondylosis in my back legs. I've had it for quite a few years now and it means I walk with a limp. I'm not allowed to go up steep stairs or for long walks but apart from that I don't let it hold me back. I've had X Ray's and the vet said there's nothing that can be done. I may need the odd painkiller now and again but I still try and run and play like a pup. Age is just a state of mind isn't it!

I love people and would prefer somewhere where people are home lots. I think I would be perfect for an older person as I don't pull and don't need long walks because of my poorly legs.

Boss is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. He is in kennels in the Worcester area, but can be re-homed anywhere in the UK, pending a successful home visit. However any adopter should be willing to travel to meet him where he is now. There is an adoption donation of £90 for Boss and all money donated goes directly to helping all the Senior Staffies in our care.
