how much, how much, how much
why is it when i take my pup for a walk people always seem to ask how much i paid for her.
i mean does it really matter wether it was £1 or £10,000, ive been asked 3 times so far and maybe its just me gettin old a miserable but it really annoys me, one woman who asked said " lovely staff, how much did you pay for her, cause my friends was only £150 from the gypsy campsite".
i told her that it does not matter the amount i paid or didnt pay but however much it was i will get back in love and kisses.
Another who had her baby with her asked "how much was that?"
i answered " how much has your baby cost so far"
then the cheeky sod said " you do know they attack dont you"
So i said "well if thats the case i wouldnt stand so close to her"
she then just walked of shaking her head, but what she didnt notice was roxy was just sat there the whole time not moving, and didnt move until i said ok
and thats the other thing thats annoys me.... the so called staffy image
I know its mostly down to the media but why do people think that because a few dogs attacked someone then the whole breed are like it.
a lady showed me a little scar on her arm that was caused by a bull terrier of some sort but she did say she didnt think it was a staff, so i showed her my scar on my leg which is alot worse than hers which was done by a family pet and he was a labrodor.
people dont seem to realise that if there are many more of one breed then obviously the bite rate will go up, i can remember years ago when it was alsations that were "dangerous" then rottweilers and now staffs.
i saw an article in the paper a few weeks back that someone was attacked by a dog and it wasnt right until the end that they said it was a labrodor, no evil looking pics of the dog or nothing.
a simular article some attacked by a staff and guess what it said in big bold lettering right next to a picture of a not so friendly looking staffy.
sorry for the rant

I'm telling people I got him for free. We did pay quite a bit for Jimi but I don't want anyone to know how much.

It really isnt anyone elses buisness how much you paid for your dogs tell them to sod off :-\\
Most passers by just ask me are they freindly so they can have a stroke, sometimes I get asked what the dog is mixed with

some people are so nosey aren't they..Regardless of how much they cost to buy, I would not sell Jethro or Winston if you wrote out a cheque for a million dollars !

Just think what it's like for me............there are no other BTs around here, but plenty of would-be-BT-owners. Every one of them at some time has asked how much Dempsey cost. I daren't say how much or he'd be stolen!
I used to say I'd got him free cause he was the runt & not a show specimen.

I know - trouble is, most of them know that a bull terrier costs more than a staff (cause there aren't as many of them) so they just think about making a quick £.
