Puppy diarrhoea

Hello all,

Bowser has had diarrhoea for 2 days, can I give him boiled rice to settle his tummy? He's 16 weeks

If there has been no change in diet and the diarrhoa is still ongoing id advise a vet visit asap.

try a bit of scrambled egg,it normally helps,dont let it go on for too long before seeing your vet,is he drinking ok??

Hi thank you, yes drinking plenty, he's had one hard stool this afternoon, I'm going to give him rice mixed with his dinner now and see how he is tomorrow to visit vet

boiled eggs are good, so is tinned pumpkin!

but i wouldn't wait too long to see a vet with such a young pup.

I'm a newbie here, but in my case the vet gave us special food for diarrhea "Gastro Intestinal" (romanian, not sure if it would be the same in english). So i would recommend seeing a vet instead of giving him rice.
