Always looking sad Empty Always looking sad

Post by Cecil15 Wed Sep 16 2015, 17:07

Cecil is around 16 weeks now and always seems to look sad! My hubby and I were joking and saying we should call him Eeyore just like the depressed donkey from  Winnie the Pooh! I don't believe he is depressed but he sure looks like it all the time.

The funny thing is when we started to talk to him like Eeyore he actually showed more interest in coming to us so now when he is in the yard and does not listen to the "come" I start talking like Eeyore and he comes running right to me ! He is such a silly goofball Smile

Bless. Other than his facial expressions, does he act depressed as in being lethargic/not wanting to play/eat etc? Or is it just the way he looks at you?

He eats very good but he does seem a bit lazy when it comes to our daily walks! I can't seem to get him motivated to walk with me! He loves to play with the other dogs and is happy when we call him but he just always has this sad face on him. What can I do if he is depressed?

Hiya make his walks a bit more lively even using a funny voice! If you are overly concerned contact your vet.

Is he food motivated? If so the watch me command and some snacks should help with the walks.
