Hello from Cecil

Hello everyone,
new member and still trying to figure things out on here Well I am a foster parent for a cute staffy pup who is about 11 weeks old. We named him Cecil and he is a bundle of joy!
Cecil came to us as a foster when he was 9 weeks old. We already have two dogs, a Malchi and a Labradoodle. Both dogs came to us unexpected and so did little Cecil. Things happen for a reason right?

Well, this is the first time for us that we ever had a staffy and he is a fast learner and catches on very quickly.
When its feeding time, he is the first to sit and waits for the ok.
He stopped chewing my nice shoes and seems to be content with his bone. I'm very pleased with that.  
Potty training has become much better. He starts to cry now when he needs to go outside but of course accidents still happen.

Walking on the leash has gotten much better, there are moments when he just sits down and no matter what you do he will not get up or move haha he can be very stubborn.
My other two dogs are still getting use to having a puppy around. They tolerate him but when those little puppy teeth grab on to an ear or tail he gets the occasional growl.

He is great with my 2 children. Ages 5 and 6. He does not jump or bite. He gets excited when they pet him but that's about it. You would think it's crazy at our house with 2 kids and 3 dogs but not much has changed.

I guess it helps that my two other dogs are very calm natured.

Right now we are really working on Cecil not playing so rough with our small Malchi. He throws his entire weight on him and poor Duke is only about 10 lbs. Any Advice?

I moved your post to introductions as it was so good. They are stubborn little beggars at times so nothing unusual there I'm not too sure what to suggest about the rough play though, will have to have a think about that one

attatch a long lead to your dogs collar when hes getting 2 rough bring him next to you get him to sit , if he rough plays with your other dog again repeat the process as soon as he stops the rough play give him plenty praise
