Treats

anyone got any good ideas on what tasty treats I can put in Marleys kong? I've put liver and lamb puppy food in it which he loved but he gets it out so quickly haha, also can you freeze the kong with food inside it?

Buddy loves scrambled egg with a bit of his kibble in - I do it the night before and freeze it ready for the morning. also Sausage meat with kibble , is a good one raw or cooked .. yoghurt and banana is also one of buddies favourite. And of course Peanut butter but check the ingredients and not too often as not particularly a healthy option to give all the time !

If you feed dry, soak some of his kibble and mix with natural yoghurt. Remember to reduce his feed by the amount of kibble you use.

You could put in softer food and freeze it? Bug likes bananas in hers, as I feed nature diet anyway I stuff it with that too

Suki likes bananas as well. We also throw veggies into a blender to make a puree which keeps the calorie count down.

I gave him banana and yogurt last night and he loved it he was quiet for hours

We BBQ steak and then dice it and put it in his Kong & seal with peanut butter and freeze, keeps him amused for ages and he loves it !

some smelly tripe, they love it.

If we are just putting dry treats in Banes, we try to use a larger treat to kind of wedge in the top to keep the rest in! Otherwise all the frozen stuff above works great! Baby food is good too!

Maisie gets dried food mixed with peanut butter then frozen she loves it. Might try her on yoghurt and banana seems like a healthier option

Marley loved the yogurt and banana one didn't hear a peep out of him for hours haha ooo I think he'd like peanut butter I'll give it a try

Carrots and sweet potato are another good one and tuna although tuna i would give every so often

Haha so does Maisie she can be sound asleep and when that door is opened she's by my side with her big eyes saying feed me!

I put chicken paste and bits of cooked ham in mias but like you said it doesn't last long enough, could i freeze paste?

Freezing the paste shouldn't be a problem!
