Testing teenager :/
Koda has been toilet trained since 10 weeks, not a single accident inside however now at 16 months has purposely wee'd on our lounge last 4 mornings in a row. We know it's deliberate & he's testing us because as soon as he wakes we take him outside for toilet and he comes back in and then does it, this morning he looked hubby in the eye as he did! Ah a testing teenager :/ Question is how do we prevent it? Now we follow him and try to prevent it however if we miss it we tell him off and put him straight outside for some time out, his ears go back and he heads for the door so he knows he's in trouble. And no he's not neutered yet, will be at the end of this year.

Re: Testing teenager :/
Hmm, sounds familiar...
Bo is also 16 months and up until the middle of last week had (a) never chewed anything in the house and (b) never peed in the house for a full year. Then on Wednesday he waits until I've left the house for ten minutes and chews a big hole in my wicker bookcase and chews up the lamp foot button. Two hours later he stops playing with his ball, looks right at me and pees on the carpet.
I didn't shout but I didn't speak to him or look at him for a few hours afterwards. I think he got the message...

I'm not sure there is a magic cure here. Carry on doing what you are with the time outs until he realises this is not acceptable Bek.

Thank you will keep trying. Sucks now coz every time he's not in sight one of us gets up to find him and then he looks at us as if to say what the hell are you doing in my space ? Just can't trust him at the mo.

Aw Koda why are you being a little rascal! Hopefully he will get the picture with the time outs! What if you wait outside with him until he goes and then only let him in once he has gone?

DEfinatley sounds like the teenage phase. Make sure to completly remove the smell if he is going inside at the same spot.
