went to the vet

hi everyone

as I said the other day we would take Nico to the vet regarding his tail. the vet said that his tail is not bothering at the minute and he seems happy enough to leave it intact which is great news.

However he was weighed in at 1.5kg and the vet said he was 8-10 weeks as most of his teeth are showing and grew through which alarmed me as 8-10 week old pups do not weigh 1.5kg at that age so maybe the breeder was right and he is only 6-7 weeks. ALSO I found out that the previous owner where feeding the poor boy COWS MILK as the mother was neglecting him.

im so happy that I have him as I don't feel he would have eventually ended up in the right hands so thank god

Sorry for the rant im just a little confused

Why would the breeder lie to you? unless he was the runt. Have you seen the other litter mates??
Anyway I might be wrong but I think when I got peppa at 8 weeks she weighted either 1.3 or 2.3 kg I really can't remember and put on about 1pound a week in average she's 23+kg now and and still growing so I wouldn't worry too much just good food and enough exercising
