Dog Obedience

Well we had our first go down at the local obedience club on Sunday and it went really well, its more a learning curve for me as its been 30 years since I last trained a dog and a lot of things have changed using more a reward system rather than the old choke chain tug and command type system.

One thing I wanted to do was train Harrie on a flat collar and not use a correction lead and these guys encourage that they dont allow correction leads on dogs under 6 month.

Once we get the recall part sorted I will give her a run at their fly ball game and then onto the agility part so we have a bit of fun ahead of us Big Grin
