Loki has decided he doesn't want to eat.. Empty Loki has decided he doesn't want to eat..

Loki has never been a gobble it up kind of dog, he has grazed alot, but the last few days he's just not wanted to eat his main meal, he will eat his treats at training, and eat his Kong with cream cheese and his dog food. But he won't eat his main food. We went for a walk yesterday in the forest and loved it but was knackered when we came home and then he ate. He's been pretty lazy today, I dunno whether it's that he's just being a fuss ass...

He perhaps should have another short walk during the day to work up his appetite? He could also be going through teething which puts them off their food.

I was just about to type actually I've just noticed he's been picking things up really tenderly and he has a tooth coming through at the front. So that's probably why!!

It could well be. Frozen towels are great for them to chew on to soothe their gums, as are frozen treats, frozen carrots etc - and perfect timing in your heat too!

When I've given him his frozen Kong with cream cheese and treats in he goes to get it straight away.

It could be the warmer weather, Rocky is eating a bit later in the day lately too. Do you leave it an hour or so after coming in from a walk before feeding ?

Lula loved the frozen carrot when she was teething but was very messy with them she also loved ice cubes
Also noticed that she seem quiet and of her food when it was really warm. we thought she was coming into season but seem to perk up after a few days.
