My little s=d oh sorry i ment darling has a bad habit of chewing gravel in the back garden and swallowing it i now have to watch her like a hawk any ideas and no i cant put a lawn back down Laughing

woody was the same - same gravel i think and i watched him like a hawk. although to be fair he never swallowed it, hejust used to rattle it round his mouth, with being so tiny i was terrified he would swallow but never did so sorry no tips

is the gravel in the front or back ?

its in the back garden she chews it up into small bits i am sure she is trying to eat it, i will need to watch her like a hawk

i'm not sure how to stop that, but i would tell her off everytime i saw her doing it. if thing get block up it may cost you ££££££ vet bills

maybe you could spray it with something, that does not taste very nice
like cayenne pepper or a chemical dog repellent

i thought about that but she will eat any thing even vindaloo curry hot and she don't blink an eyelid , not a full meal just licks the plate , i don't want to put a muzzle on her just to go to the loo in the garden or play , it's not fair on her , she is back at the vet in 2 weeks for the 2nd part of her jabs so i will ask them what to do , whats this dog repellant stuff never heard of it , can i get some for cats because my garden is a nightclub for all the feral cats by me as i back on to woodlands and there must be 30-40 cats and the RSPCA wont take them away or catch them to neuter them not even the local council are bothered , and i live in sheltered housing . It drives the dogs daft at night-time one of these nights Milo will catch 1 and i feel sorry for it when he does
