His red blood cell count has raised from low back up to normal, he is eating drinking and going to the toilet, hes been pulling on everyone's heart strings!! I am over joyed, he's having a last bag of fluids finished off and he will be ready to pick up at 4.30. I cannot wait to see him I've been worried sick and beside myself.

he is full of beans!! Chewing and trying to eat everything, he's got special dietary food for 3 days he loves it

I have a follow up appointment next week, as his liver needs to flush it's self through, he's not completely out. Of the woods but he's home safe, and currently asleep on me.

Yup, because it had onion powder in it, the volume he consumed was so concentrated that's why it was so toxic, I am too take him straight back.if he is sick again, but his urea count was low, which indicates liver damage, but his liver functions are normal and his levels that show if he's anemic are back in normal range, they said that he has healed incredibly...but gotta keep an eye on him!! I am printing a list of.things they can't have and putting it on my fridge!!! He's only.allowed a can of this food a day which has electrolytes in to help his liver recover, so he's constantly snooping for food!! Poor bugger

I'm sure his liver will recover OK, if they are like human livers, it's the only organ in the body that will repair itself. He'll be OK.

My mum said the same, the vet said she wasn't too concerned wuth the urea being high because his liver function was normal, and for it to be not normal it would mean his liver was more than 75% damaged which it isn't, so next time he goes in they should just have to examine him, and check his heart rate. If his heart rate is normal his liver is fine. He's asleep in his bed now!! I'm so paranoid he's not drinking enough.

If he's eating wet food that will be enough moisture. It's a comfort when they drink but try not to worry too much.

Yeah he's on this wet food!! I tried to give him a bit from a bottle and he spat it out....* bag...he will probably drink while I'm taking my son to nursery this morning.
