Just a quick question for some guidance. Me and my partner have a 22 week old staffie and now the weather is getting warmer she likes sunbathing, mostly lying on her back with her belly up. I am just wondering if anyone has any tips on stopping her getting sunburn and keeping her cool in the warm weather. Thanks

To keep her cool you could buy a small child's pool. I bought Darcy one and although she's still deciding if she like it it helps cool her as we play and splash water. We also have a kool collar were you freeze the inserts and put the collar on. I bought some doggy suncream for Darcy sensitive bits. Smile

I use my sun-lotion on peppa as she's white/pink. It's a good one 20 SPF with aloe-Vera and green tea could it be bad for her??

Wouldn't think it would be bad... After all it's all natural. Guess the best thing is to apply and just make sure there is no skin reaction  Smile

I met a lady from Barbados at the park she's got a white apbt back at home that looks similar to peppa. she said she never let her out in the sun which is much stronger there obviously but peppa is a sun worshipper and her skin is so delicate it is worrying. She don't have any reaction to the lotion but don't like it so I put it quickly on her face and ears ill start rubbing in on her tummy as well . The little princess what a pain lol

Yeah I guess it's a little different there. My "Princess" is brindle so she tends to get hot before getting red but we watch that she isn't getting sore or over doing the sunbathing. Certainly no harm in applying the lotion to be safe.
