nikita was 10wks on monday. she had her 2nd lot of jabs yesterday and chipped. she was also wormed today. she was playing fine in the garden then all of a sudden she was very unsteady. front leg gave way and she was wobbly. its really hot here. could it be the heat? she doesnt seem in pain. she is in her crate atm having a rest.

It could well be the heat, or a reaction to the jabs/worming tablets, or a combination of both!

Keep an eye on her and if you think she isn't getting better, or seems in distress, ask the vet for advice.

If that keeps happening, I'd get it checked out. Is it happening indoors at all? I take it you can't see or feel anything wrong with her leg?

shes fiine now must have been the heat. once it got cooler she was ok. she has a weak front leg anyway which i think is due to her being from a father/daughter litter. when she got hot and tired it gives way more but after a rest shes fine xx

it is, she has caused nothing but worry since we got her, but i wouldnt change her for the world. apparently its a 'staffy thing' when they just flop on the floor when hot, my next door's 2 staffys do it and my Bro-in-laws dog does it too lol

There's alot of 'staffy things' that you'll soon get used to!! Glad she's ok.

billy does that especially when we come back from walks, it can take quite a while to get home, need loads of treats to get him moving
