dry food recomendations - Raw food finds... Empty Raw food finds...

Post by cesca1 Sun Mar 09 2014, 16:27

Yesterday on our walk Watson killed a baby rabbit! I thought we wouldn't waste it so I popped it in a bag and took it home and Molly had it whole as part of her dinner! (Watson has struggled more with his tummy when moving over to raw so I didn't want to risk anything). She was so funny she nibbled the leg then clearly thought 'ohhhh actually this is really good!' and then polished the lot off fur and all!

Just wondered... has anyone else done similar things? Whats the strangest raw food find you've given your dogs?!

Was so pleased that I was able to put it to use and he didn't kill it for no reason (I was shocked that he actually caught it to be honest)

Good for you a freebie lunch, what did you do with the guts, or did she eat it all ?

Can they actually eat the guts? I always thought that needed to be removed although in the wild I wouldn't expect wolves or wild dogs to gut their fresh catch Tongues

Can't wait until we move back to Europe later this year. At our house in Spain, we've always got wild rabbits in our back paddocks so hopefully Marquez tries to catch some Big Grin
