Truth about dog food - Dry food vs Raw food
Hi All,
We saw documentary the other day and found out most of dry food is not good for dog (Don't say all of them) and raw food is better/natural for dog. We ware already giving him raw meat + dry food mix but he starting to leave dry food. After watching this program we changed Zeus diet to raw meat + veg mix. We can see result straight away that his poo become smaller and solid also no smell. He seems happier and cannot wait for his coat to be shinier and eye become clearer!!
So how many of you doing raw dog food diet?
Kaz

I don't feed raw, I haven't the space and it simple wouldn't suit us. I agree it is a better diet but doesn't suit everyone and Moo does well and looks well on kibble

Re: Truth about dog food - Dry food vs Raw food
I pick up my new 8 week old puppy tomorrow and he is currently being fed on Pedigree Chum Dry.
I have read bad things about this and now other dry foods on this site and had a quick glance (did not study it in detail I admit) at the Raw Diet. It looked quite complicated.
If I did want to change the Puppy's diet:-
1. How long should I wait with respect to settling into his new home, and
2. How would I go about the swap over (over the course of how many days/weeks.
Assuming I can work out the Raw diet that is.

Oh yes pedigree isn't good, I haven't had a pup so not sure about the settling in but when you change to raw its always best to do a straight swap, one day kibble the next raw
