hi all

so i had said before tht our girl had her first season and we r getting her speyed but shes been too and from the vet with hormones all out of sorts. she chewed her feet to bits, peed on the sofa, digs the sofa and her bed, spent loads of time moping in her crate not coming out!
anyway shes been so challenging and its caused another rift between my mum and i, she is mega pulling on lead and wants to stray, she is barking all the time and has again been mouthing :-( i feel like im doing so much but she is mega all over the place

so have you had her neutered yet, or is this just her seasonal behaviour? I don't know what to suggest, my dog is on her 20th day of her season and she has been fine. I hope you get it sorted out it sounds very distressing for both you and your dog.

thanks for the replys.
not had her done yet, vet said we have to wait til shes back to as 'normal' as possible. its been a nightmare all her training seems to have gone back so many steps!!
aside from tht she has started really jumping up on everyone and barking!
the actual season was fine it went easier than we thought til about 5weeks after it finished so vet thinks its a phantom preg and shes not fussed for food either

so what can the vet do when they have a phantom, just let them ride it out? I must say that Thistle has been very well behaved during her season, but as she is nearing the end she's showing some of her naughtiness, but I don't think it is anything to worry about as far as your problem is concerned, she's just getting her mojo back, mores the pity.

Biscuit used to get phantoms all of the time, but the rescue centre didn't want to spend money spaying her if she wasn't going to get adopted. We used galastop, ask your vet about it x
