Teenager ????
I have an appointment tomorrow for a one to one, 2 hour session witha dog behaviourist to try to address Bacchus's increasing dog aggression. I have also noticed that he is trying to push the boundaries a little with us. Nothing major just pushing quite strongly with his muzzle when he wants affection. When he does this I make a point of not rewarding this with attention. He has also reverted to occasionally trying to hump the OH's foot when she is sitting down. He hasn't done this for many months now so why the sudden relapse? The attempted humping only happens once inthe evening and he stops as son as I tell him off.
He is now 19 months and I thought we had perhaps avoided the " terrible teens " but could this be the problem, raging hormones etc.?

Sounds like a teenage thing, thankfully this isn't something Rocky has gone through since he was neutered by the rescue centre beflore he came home to us.
