for eating grass/plants including stalks!  Surprised

i always discourage him to leave the green stuff alone but a few days ago he pooed out a large clump of grass twice one with blood the other with some sort of mucus  sick.  brought him to vets that day and was told that they feel he may have just scratched the inside but he can not go out to toilet unsupervised anymore unless i muzzle him as he may pierce his insides  Sad

i had wormed him just under 3months ago but was advised to do it again and he had worms in his poo.  he's nearly 9months old how often am i supposed to worm him? thought it was between 3-6months at a time.

he's ok now and poo is back to normal just makes me laugh when i watch him in the garden and the way he looks at me like why are you watching my every move  Laughing because u eat grass wispa!

Oh dear Wispa! Glad he's OK now. You should worm every 3 months. Never heard of grass piercing insides though!

thanks guys! i think the vet was talking about the other greens he was eating that had the twigs in it like my rosmary bush! and general plants with twigs. sorry for the confusion. he literally pood out grass/plants and twigs! i have pictures which i showed the vet but thought better than to stick it up here  Laughing
