Dog bed Empty Dog bed

Post by suzieJ Tue Dec 31 2013, 13:29

I'm wanting to buy a dog bed for Lucy.
I have to also bear  in mind that we will be getting another staffy at the end of May next year.

Do I  get one for her and another for our male dog Franky -  if so what would be the best size to get?
OR.... do I get an extra large one for both to share?

I friend of mine  has three staffies and they all curl up together on her settee  confused

Ooo I don't know, only got the one and as much as Daisy is OK with other dogs can't imagine her snuggling up with one!

Daisy has a very pretty Joules floral bed, very girly  Smile

Although I bought it from pet planet not direct from joules

I've never had two dogs together, why not wait and see how they get on before buying another bed for the second dog.

As for size Rockys bed is approx 2 ft x 2 ft and he snuggles up in that just fine

I only have the 1 but i would imagine you would be getting 2 seperate beds and let them decide if they want to share.

Mmm... I might be thinking to hard on this and making it into a problem where there isn't any?

I will probably buy one for now, and wait to see how Lucy reacts to the new puppy

Thanks for your help Smile

I've just taken in a second and they try to get in the bed together.. but i've got two beds just for the simple fact that if they want some alone time they can and don't have to sleep together all of the time!

They don't need very big beds just enough room to stretch out. Bacchus has 2 beds as my wife is very into " airing " his beds although I'm sure he prefers them a wee bit niffy. Big Grin  I got his beds in TK Max. You may have to visit a few times to get what you want but god prices.
