Daisy only spayed Christmas Eve won't keep still!!
We had our beautiful Daisy spayed on Christmas Eve, she was a little groggy and restless that night (understandable) but since waking up Christmas morning has gone back to being her normal manic self!
It's lovely to see her happy but soo hard to keep her calm and almost impossible to stop her jumping.
We are trying to control her but it's really hard especially with her bestest friend Belle wanting to play.
We have OH mother and daughter visiting tomorrow and I know she is going to be so excited jumping up! What can I do to try and stop her? ( we don't crate our dogs)
It would be great if they waited a week to come over but not sure my OH would agree!
Many thanks for any advice given

Do you have a spare room Daisy could go in to be by herself if she gets too excited ? If she is too much when people arrive maybe pop her onto her collar and lead until she has calmed down. A stuffed Kong should keep her occupied for a while

Thank you Kathy she does have a kong so I'll make sure there's some nice food in it for her and will put her lead on her too.
They'll be her for about 4 hours so can't really keep her away for too long especially if she hears them?

Oh dear thats goin to be difficult unless you have a room to seperate the hoomans from her! How about asking MIL to ignore her until she's sat nice before she says hello xx good luck b

I'll try that but she's a very hyper dog and I'm sure thinks she's a kangaroo lol! I swear she had springs in her feet

Do you perhaps have a baby gate to separate rooms, that way she can see you but not jump up on everyone? The kong works wonders too!
