BARF - one meal of barf Empty one meal of barf

I have been substituting Lucy's mid day meal with barf chicken mince.
Because she is feed on Orijen for breakfast and tea (80% protein 20% fruit/veg) do you think it is necessary to mix anything else in with the raw meat? ( tripe/ pulped veg)

If so, do I have to reduce the raw meat to include the added veg etc.

Can't help I'm afraid. Have been feeding BARF for only about 10 days but have switched completely.

Ive only been feeding raw for a month or so, but I feed completely raw. I don't feed any vegetables or you could add a little tripe if you wanted, just reduce the chicken a little, I'm sure one of our raw experts will be along shortly Smile

I would personally feed one or the other.

I feed an all raw diet, including tripe, offal and fruits and veggies.

I'd switch completely to raw, tbh.

If you feed prey model raw, then you don't need fruit or veg (unless your dog likes them as treats).

If she's enjoying it I'd also say switch to raw, I did 7 weeks ago and its going great.

This may be of interest Smile
