Bella and Feeding
Bella went to the Vets on Thursday the 7th just gone, the vet said she was under wight which I knew as I only had her not even a week.. But for 10week old pup she was 5.1kgs is that good or what? As the vet want me to feed her three times a day, once in the morning, lunch and dinner. But she is not a very big eater and she doesn't like Weet Bix like the vet told me to give her in the morning, so what else can I give her in the morning please

Re: Bella and Feeding
Darcy was 8kg at 16 wks so I'd personally say she's fine and she looks fine in your pics.

Re: Bella and Feeding
My pup wasn't much bigger at 5.6kg at that age. i was feeding 4 meals a day till 12 weeks, which I am surprised the vet didn;t suggest.
My pup loved nature diet puppy at that age before i switched her to raw.

Re: Bella and Feeding
Pebbles was 4.5 kilos at 9 and half weeks so i would say your pup is fine...she looks good in your picture too.
We were feeding 4 meals /day until she was 3 months old, then only 3.
Did i read this right that your vet said to give her Weet bix in the morning? I assume Weet bix is a breakfast cereal similar to Wheatabix here in the UK? If that is the case i wouldn't give it to the pup. A lot of dogs don't digest wheat very well. I give Pebbles the same dry food (Arden Grange) at each meal plus some dog treats for training.

Re: Bella and Feeding
Ive not had a pup but I don't think weetabix has any nutritional value, what about some scrambled eggs? I've just changed to raw but daisy loved scrambles eggs!
