Belle's poor neck
Belle has never been a fan of her collar and always had a bit of a scratch but today she has scratched that much she has made her neck pink and sore and it looks like if she scratches any more she'll make it bleed
sorry in advance for the bad pic this was the best one.

Re: Belle's poor neck
Poor Belle perhaps a bit of sudacreme on there will help ease the soreness and itchiness. Hope she heals soon xx

Re: Belle's poor neck
I always take their collars off after their walks, and they like me to give their necks a good old scratch! They must tickle.

Re: Belle's poor neck
I was taking it off as soon as we got in the house and she would have even more of a scratch like "ahhhh that's a relief" lol!!
its a small material one from pets at home, nothing fancy or blingy just the ones for pups.
well I went and got her a small harness and guess what no sctraching she's a lot happier with it but I don't want to banish collars altogether

Re: Belle's poor neck
Are you able to get hold of some Aqueous cream this will aid the healing and won't dry out the skin and cause further irritation.
Rocky only has his collar on for walks, a collar is a legal requirement for a dog so must have one on when outside on walks etc.
We have an EzyDog collar for Rocky which is a little wider than most so doesn't cause too much scratching.

I used the material puppy ones from pets at home on peppa too until recently and she didn't like them either. I think maybe they are too thin,so maybe irritated more
