Alternative to the Boomer ball?
Hi all,
Troy has badly worn his teeth down gnawing on his boomer ball so I have taken it away, which is a shame because he loves it and it is an easy way to get him running.
So, I am looking for an alternative. I have seen those giant tennis balls that people get their dogs, what are these like? I read that the material tennis balls are made out of actually wear a dogs teeth down too and I am not sure if he will do the same thing with one.
He is not really interested in small balls, thanks.

The giant tennis balls are ok as long as they're not allowed to really chew on them - they will break & lumps could be swallowed. If you're going to supervise, then they should be ok!

Hmm, well I throw the ball for him to chase down and he might make short work of it while I am making my way towards him.
Any other suggestions?

What about this ?? but if he can kill a caser style football in short time then maybe not as they are not staffy proof but ours did last quite a while , it's sort of like a thick skinned basketball with handles on

I just give Biscuit footballs.. she doesn't like anything that she can't destroy so she'll pop it within the first 5 minutes but then has hours of fun running around after and ragging the empty case

These are the ones I get for Biscuit.. the raggy toy didn't last long but she's had her current one for about 6 months and it's still in one (slightly torn up) piece

We have one of these and it has seen some fairly serious chew action and lasted really well despite it ...
