Yea I would say so.

I had the same issue when I was pregnant with my son, everyone told me to move my JRT on. She was 2 and I had her from a pup. She's fine with both my kids.
My JRT always growls to play, over treats and now when playing with our Staffie pup.
It's normal. Ur know when it's aggression and then ur knw with training how to stop that.

Hi Broxi's dad. This is normal, the age he is at he is just testing the boundaries, the way to teach him this isn't acceptable is to take away the toy/bone firmly and without hesitating. If he growls or anything a firm 'NO, LEAVE' and then the minute he stops and settles give it back. this way he will learn you are not going to take his fun away but you are the boss. Another thing you can do is 'swapping' what he has something in his mouth trade with him for another toy or a nice treat. He is just being naughty now he's getting a bit older. Usually you only have to do this once or twice and they wont do it again.

Echo above, nothing to worry too much about. I found the swapping method as mentioned very affective with Vinnie. Smile

Definitely swapping method, Rocky did great with this! I find that Rocky was especially attached to his bones, love love loves them, but when I swap it with something he is fine! Smile
