update on getting up early
Hi everyone just a quick note to say thanks for all your advice yesterday. I put it into action last night firstly took sasha for a late walk around 9pm then sat in the garden for a quick cuppa while she was doing her business then put her in her crate around 9.45. I then went down to wake her at 4.30 and put her out in the garden where she went to the toilet. Then straight back in to her crate with no interaction apart from a brief cuddle. She went straight back to sleep until I got up at 7.15. Not sure if it was a fluke or not so gonna carry on with it. So its a big thank you from one happily rested puppy and owner x

I also took the training pad away and no mistakes so far. She learns really quickly its like having a toddler in the house again. Wouldn't have been able to do it without your advice so thanks again

Glad we could help. It will only get easier. Again, try not to interact if possible for a few weeks so that she doesn't get the idea that it's anything other than a toilet break.

Re: update on getting up early
I do try but its those sad puppy eyes they get me every time. My hubby did the toilet break this morning so I got a proper nights sleep. If only I could get her to eat her food consistently id be a happy happy owner. Thanks again reuben you're a star

I'm glad you found a routine that works for you! I also take Gwen for a late walk around 8-9pm that way she's all tired out and she sleeps much better!
