First time away....

Missing my little Wriglepot...first time away from home, he's having fun I'm sure but I feel bad!

Aww Im sure Wrigley is doing fine, but bet he misses his mummy too! Loads of hugs when you get back That's the best part, how excited and happy they get!

He'll be fine, just think of all those kisses when you get back together

Just had 3 nearly 4 days away from my 2 when I'm not with them I just talk loads about them instead , that gets me by until I get home

You feel bad and he is at home having a riot.

We do miss them terribly, sure Wrigley will be just as glad to see you. Your avatar pic is gorgeous! 

Thanks everyone, yes I am sure he is loving life.  We put him in the local kennel, I was nervous about it but brought his blanket, a fav toy, kibbles and his homemade bowser biscuits.  The pens are big and he actually went straight into the day play area with about four other dogs.  We watched them for quite awhile, the lady removed one dog that was acting like he might get a bit rough with him.  He was running around with a massive smile making new friends.  Part of the reason we decided kennel instead of with friends was for the socialisation skills he would acquire.  The lady that runs it was highly recommended by a work mate, she actually takes her dog to doggy daycare once a week so he can play with the other dogs.  I am thinking once a month for a day visit might be good, depending on how he handles this adventure.

How long is he there for Erin? Can you get updates on him by calling   I'm sure he's loving it do let us know how he's got on.

We dropped him off Friday morning, and pick him up Monday after work.  Long time! Will let ya know how he is when I pick him up. But for now, we are off to see Sir David Attenborough live in person (speaking in Adelaide). So excited!!!

Well, he's back!!! Was very happy to see me, but tired out and slept the whole way home.  Needed a bath to get the other doggy smells off him.  He's got a few scratches around his neck but its hard to say if that is from dog play or from wearing a collar (doesn't usually wear one out on the farm) and scratching at it. They mentioned he's quite a chatterbox so I assume he did a bit of staffie talking LOL. Anyways, good to see he hasn't lost his breakfast manners:



So good to have him home!
