gundog trainer hangs dog by ears

I did have a look and can't see this elsewhere.

But has anyone else seen this, it's gone pretty viral, and there is a massive hate campaign against the trainer, the RSPCA are involved.

He is trying to defend his actions by saying if the dog didn't like it or was abused, he wouldn't work for him, CLEARLY the so called trained knows nothing about dog body language and the amount of appeasement the spaniel is doing is ridiculous. Also people send their dogs to him and they come back 'fully trained'

That is quite disturbing.

I don't want to watch it I can imagine how awful it is though imagine if you've sent your dog to him how awful are they going to feel now.

what the hell does he think he's doing? i've seen some rubbish training methods before but this idiot beats all of them. hope he gets what he deserves

Oh this is just insane. What is wrong with this guy....so heartbreaking that he can treat animals this way

I have worked with a few working spaniels, the poor things are batshit crazy and the normal ones who are not worked are fine.

Ah right see it now, in fast forward i thought the dog was jumping up. I don't think he is lifting it soley by the ears, more the scruff and ears too, but still totally unacceptable.

No he states on FB he lifts ONLY by the ears

Me mum used to do the same method on me. Not only is it not pleasent, it stretches them and gives your mates an excuse to take the pisss out of you

were i come from he would have been strung up by his ears for that by other trainers...yeah alot of em are old school and i dont agree with alot of there methods but not once have i seen any gun dog trainer raise a hand to a dog let alone grab it by the ears and smack it hard on the back. hes a * pure and simple and the terds that think the sun shines out of his bottom are no better and ignorant fools that encourage this behaviour. in reality this guy has no power in life and gains it from beating dogs into submission.

yer he claims to use old school methods. Doesn't use any of the more humane positive methods, as it doesn't get the job done!
