A few little successes :)
Took Chiquito for a walk on the common today ...
After two corrections for pulling (one when we first arrived and the second when he wanted to follow the first dog we came across) he walked on a loose lead for the rest of the time! We passed 6 dogs and lots of people on the walk - while he is still giving his attention to them and not me, he only lunged once (toward another dog) and returned to me quite quickly once the people and pooches had passed!! And last but not least - he found a piece of sausage on the ground, I said leave ........ and he left it!!!
I know that they are only little things, and that we still have a very long way to go with his training, but I am a little proud of his big effort today

Thanks Dave ... it is nice to see that doing the same thing again and again and again day after day has had some effect, makes doing it again today that little bit easier
Well done to Tommy and Tilly as well!! 15 minutes is a really short time to correct a week of being allowed to do something else

Aww Chiquito you lil(*) It's all about the small victories! It's such a good feeling since you put so much hard work and patience into their training when they make progress it's the biggest deal! Good job to you as well. You should be very proud! It's a big deal and Chiquito is still very young! Sounds like he's doing great and making a lot of progress!
