She is having none of it, i have been putting the harness and lead on her during the day before she was able to go out. Now that she can go for walks she just shakes and cries. If i have my daughter with me lola follows her no problem but i want to walk with just me or the oh.

Favourite toy, and be the most exciting thing ever! Even if you look like a plonker Laughing It won't take long for her to enjoy it Xx

Lola sounds just like darcy was, now she cries at the door at walk time Laughing to go out.

Baby steps at first. The world is a big and sometimes frightening place for a little puppy. She'll soon be taking you for walks!

Yes, get her used to smells etc, a puppy doesn't pull, well not yet anyway! Once she is happy on the lead then work on healing Xx

Very small baby steps indeed. I went thru similar with my girl. Took months to get her to walk to the end if the road.

I had to show high confidence - assertiveness - and leadership.

Walk a far as she's happy to go - u need to be ott and super excited !!! Loads of praise, treats etc.

It will take some time - but you will get there.

Distractions are good - my girl would gladly do the school run (lots of distractions with kids striking her) then walk with me.

She is still a puller - my hubby tends to walk her most as she's fine with him.

I always walk our boy Tank - he's been ace from day one - but I feel every owner learns from their mistakes !
Tank isn't happy being walked by anyone else - we do have a very strong bond. He will freeze and wait for me.

In my opinion, yes. A little puppy should only have 5 minutes max outside walk each day for each month of its life anyway, so there is a lot of learning to be packed into those minutes. Let her sniff and explore, and gradually, gradually extend her walks.

With my daughter for her to follow she would walk for hours if she was allowed, without her she sits on the mat and cries. I read i shouldnt pull her so how can we progress.

Sounds like Lola is very bonded with your daughter (which is lovely in itself). Do they spend all day together?

Anyway, Lola must learn to walk out without your daughter. I haven't experienced this kind of problem myself, so could only tell you what I would try in your situation, which may or may not work.

Hopefully someone with more experience of this particular situation will be able to give you positive advice.

If she likes squeeky toys, then I'd encourage her by sqeeking one & then moving forward so that she follows. Just a bit at a time. Every so often let her have the toy to shake around so that it keeps her interested. Then gently take it away, and entice her forward again.
