A couple of niggles
Hi, we have a 9 week old staff yes very young and we are training her, we have a couple of niggles with her that we are trying to sort out, I know training takes a little time and perseverance.
The first is she loves to bite us, we tell her "NO" in a stern voice but she continues, we continue to say no and push her away.
The second is regarding toilet training, she is going for her first injections tomorrow so has not ventured outside as yet, currently we use news paper at the back door, she poo's on it all the time, but wee is a different story she wee's anywhere. When we see her drink we move her to the paper, or when we see her squat for a wee we move her to the paper but she still wee's anywhere.
Any help or advice would be appreciated, we do understand that it is early days and we need to be persistent with our training but any pointers would help.

Re: A couple of niggles
as you rightly say it's all about perseverance , there will be a lot of accidents before she gets it , but just carry on as you are and she will get there, the biting is just puppy times and something you have to work through , keep with the firm no
She's only been with you for a very short period (assuming you got her at 8 weeks so you have to give it some time.
When you clean up the wee ensure you are cleaning properly (use biological washing powder) to get rid of all traces or she will return to the same spot all the time

Some sound advice, our 3 young children do not like the nipping, my 5 year old boy has always been a little nervous around dogs, so we want to nip the bitting in the bud asap.

Just make sure pup is supervised around the kids , she's not going to hurt them intentionally but she talks with her teeth at this stage , try to replace skin with a chew toy when she's doing it , time and patience . Tommy took quite a long time to learn , whereas Tilly was very quick to learn.
You've got to train the kids as well so they learn that it is part of her behaviour as a pup and not something to be scared of (though them little pins do hurt ) you really do have to give it time and not expect it to be something you will fix overnight

Don't push her away - in her mind that's inviting her to play! Just say "no" or yelp, and then totally ignore her - stop all play and fussing, and don't even look at her. If she carries on, just pick her up and put her out of the room for a minute so that she calms down. Then when you let her in, just give calm, quiet praise.

Do you have a garden? If so, she can be taken out to the garden roughly every hour and when she does anything out there praise her, maybe use a 'trigger' word like "Empty" or "Weewee" something like that.
You should also take her out there when she wakes up, after she's been playing, after food or drink or if you see her circling or about to crouch.

Again thanks, please do not get me wrong, we are not looking for an instant fix, we are teaching our children when they can play with her and when they can not, we are also create training her, although sometimes I am tempted to create train the kids

Re: A couple of niggles
With Tiger yelping worked a treat, a high pitched yelp on your part and she'd instantly stop, feel bad for 5 seconds then come back to play again because that's how it'd work with other dogs and each time you yelp, she'll learn more and more that teeth don't go with skin. Tiger still accidentally nips when she's over excited but we're still working on that.
Tell your kids if she accidentally catches them, for them to yelp and walk away, no more contact, no pushing her away, just yelp and walk off, she'll quickly understand that nipping will result in the play time being over.
