My 2 are fully raw fed. Bailey has been raw fed on and off since 10 weeks, but for the past 6+ months has been on full raw. Sierra has been raw fed since 7.5weeks old and is now 8 months Smile

If I had the time and space I would switch to raw, but it doesn't suit us Smile

what benefits would you find from some or only raw food diet?

Would you say it helps with health size muscles etc?

Feeding a good quality food is healthy, but food isn't what creates muscley dogs. Only exercise (and genetics, somewhat) will do that, but a good diet certainly helps. The bones keep their teeth nice and clean, they have a diverse range of food to eat, which is always nice for them, and you feed as close as possible to how they'd eat in the wild, as opposed to maize and cereals and additives, like a lot of foods have.

Spot on! Bones keep teeth and gums healthy, also a nice big chunk of meat will give the dog a mental workout aswell as physical! A dog is 99% identical to wolves, apart from the look and the fact there 'domesticated' their anatomy is the exact same! My 2 SBT's are raw fed but my other dog is on Wainwrights trays and Eden kibble, if I had my way she would be on raw aswell but it doesn't suit her!

My two have been on raw for about the last month. They are thriving not being on fillers, cereals and e-numbers that go into kibble. Their teeth are looking great; their physiques are looking amazing and their energy levels are fantastic - they're a lot less lethargic. The bones and chunky pieces of meat are great stimulation too and the chewing helps them not to chew on something they shouldn't - it also keeps them busy for ages! They're a lot calmer too not being on additives. Their coats are looking in amazing condition. Their poo is more solid and smaller. They fart less! Their breath is better. They drink a bit less water because of the moisture from meat. They get a good variety and look so forward to dinner time that they get up on the freezer and have a look in when I'm getting their food out Smile
Best of all, they really look forward to meal times, instead of "holding out for something better" when presented with a bowl of dry food. They tuck in and you can see that they really enjoy it Smile

My two have been on raw for well years now!

I would never feed anything, to me feeding as species appropriate as possible is very important, as is the mental and physical exercise they get from eating each meal, which obviously includes the dental benefits

Plus my two have a massive variety of foods they get, plus it's cheap!
