Is she pining? Empty Is she pining?

Skye is soo close to my 2 year old son. They're like partners in crime. He is sleeping out tonight and I've never seen Skye so unsettled. She keeps sitting looking at the door and pacing the room. I've let her out for toilet but she won't settle. Sorry if I sound silly but could she be unsettled cos she knows my son isn't here? I can't think of any other reason. She's usually in bed long before now but not tonight

Thanks in advance x

Always remeber staffordshire bull terriers are possibly the brainiest dogs out there.

My other staff that died not long a go was brainy, he sat near the door near enough everyday to wait for my brother to come home from work at 3:30PM and he'd get so excited seeing him, so yeah possibly your dog maybe missing him.. as he ever slept out before while you've had the dog?

Yep she can be. Lexi pines for my dad if he's away.

I think Skye is probably missing him, especially if they're like 2 peas in a pod, we went out earlier today and darcy starts acting strange as soon as she notices us getting ready, she was at home with my son & he said when they wernt out or playing she slept by my chair until I came in Smile

If she's bonded so closely with your son, it's definitely possible she was missing him, they do get rather clingy like that Love Struck
