Does anybody give there dog a cup of tea, I don't make Lola them but when I've got mine and I out it on the floor she runs over and starts to drink it, is this allowed?
Re: Brews
Not sure an entire cup would be good but Moo always gets the remains of my hot chocolate

Re: Brews
It's probably not advised by vets etc but I always used to save a little bit if my brew for our Taz. He only liked tea with no sugar and it had to be a tiny bit warm still , he would wait for it to be offered and never tried to steal
it bless him.
It's something my grandma always did with her dogs so I suppose I just picked it up .
I don't think it can do much harm, better than feeding them dog food full of additives I reckon .
Taz always got roast dinner on Sunday too ... Think I am a bit daft :/

Re: Brews
Just watch it maby as it's cows milk and sugar, both not great for pooches, but in moderation prolly won't hurt x

Re: Brews
No well I don't make her a full cup every morning but I just put it down before and she started drinking it! She has a Sunday dinner with us on Sundays & i make her a toast on a sat morning as a treat, I'll just save her a drop of my tea when I'm done, it can't be that bad x

My parents dogs use to be horrendous with the cuppas, think it each to there own but personally i never let tyke do this with anything in a cup mainly due to having a little a boy plus if it anything like in my house sometimes when we have family around cups have to go onto the floor (am like a mad women on hand with a t towel for splillage haha) and i personally would be embarrassed if tyke had a go at some ones tea..................sorry just my opinion

Re: Brews
- got that covered, if people came round I'd ask them to put there drinks on the coffee table, ours normally goes on there too as its a nightmare cleaning carpets. But my dogs part of my family, if she wants a brew she can have one. Maybe it's different if I had a baby but until then I guess it's okayrebeccaleanne wrote:My parents dogs use to be horrendous with the cuppas, think it each to there own but personally i never let tyke do this with anything in a cup mainly due to having a little a boy plus if it anything like in my house sometimes when we have family around cups have to go onto the floor (am like a mad women on hand with a t towel for splillage haha) and i personally would be embarrassed if tyke had a go at some ones tea..................sorry just my opinion

Re: Brews
I remember my Uncle's dog having a cuppa, not sure if it was Tetley or not . Lola had cuppas when she was a puppy from the breeder. I'm a black coffee drinker so I wouldn't let them have that although Lily loves the Multivitamin juice from Sainsburys, she will stick her tongue in the glass when I'm finished

Re: Brews
Cassie is not having brews, not until she can make her own at least, she already thinks i'm the pet and whats mine is actually hers but i just don't know it. I learnt in a very short time after we got Cassie not to leave biscuits, brews, toast or anything eatable/drinkable anywhere within 3foot off the ground because anything lower is fair game to her

I had a dream a few nights back that Logan was in the kitchen making me some chips, I was waiting for the house to burn down.
