Vet visit approahes
On Saturday Mar has her first vet visit with us. she is 12 weeks. the only interaction she has had with other dogs had been brief play sessions with the sausage puppy. any tips for my wife and i when we take her in? im sure there will be plenty other animals waiting and we just dont know how she will act. also our crate is too big to fit in the car so we will have to leash and collar it. just want it to go smooth because the "pitbull puppy" stigma is pretty big here and i dont want people to be put off by her gruff old man vocalizations if they happen.

Just carry her if you feel more comfortable. It will be fine, always more daunting than you think. My first loved it so much she had a wee in the middle of floor infront of a waiting room full of well behaved animals

I'm sure she will be fine at the vets, please try not to worry. Rocky loves going to the vets too, he has a thing about the lady vet

We carried ours into the vet on her first visit.
She now loves it and they love her, although she wee's every single time we go in there as the nurse gets on the floor and gets her all excited lol

Sure she will be fine, try not to be too anxious cus she will pick up on it and might be nervous. Make the whole experience as fun and exciting as possible. Lots of cuddle and strokes from the vets. Take some delicious treats, if she is going for injections then hold a treat in front of her nose and just as he inserts the needle give her it. This way she wont notice and will also associate vet's table with yummy food!
