fist pee in the crate
I took a tad bit too long to get home for lunch or i let her drink too much water before i left for work lol. she peed for the first time in her crate today. the look of dissappointment and shame on her face when i lifted up the blanket made me feel bad lol.
she has a bed in the crate, we put a towel on it, just something we got into doing. so i switched the towel. the pee probably would have seeped through i suppose. will a regular washingmachine cycle suffice for to get rid of the scents? also will i have to use anythign special to get rid of the scent from the crate tray?
kind of want to eliminate possibilities of her doing it again.

Re: fist pee in the crate
Just wash the bedding with a regular washing detergent, this can also be used to wash the area too as it has no ammonia smell to it.

Bless her, they hate soiling there areas. Haven't used a crate but as suggested hopefully washing it will suffice and don't leave her too long as a pup Xx

Just a small point Jordan - don't ever try to restrict the amount of water Marley drinks. She will drink as much as she needs and in warm weather this is particularly important. Better a wet towel in her crate than a dehydrated puppy.

Thx lynda. I may have worded that wrong, I keep a Bowl of water in her crate for her and a bowl of water buy her food bowl

That's great Jordan.
So, just forgive her little accidents, she's still a baby and she will become more "contained" in time.

Hey, accidents happen lol. I can't be mad at that face anyway lol. Just wanted clarity on the best cleanup to rid the scent.

Yes she's absolutely gorgeous.
Ref the "scent" normal washing should get rid of it, especially if you use a fabric conditioner.

Hey, she's gorgeous and doing great. Accidents will happen and it appears she was embarrassed. If this is the only accident she's had, that's superb. Just clean up with no fuss and carry on with the praise when she gets it right.
