Marley has a great weekend
Morning all, hope everyone has had a good weekend.
Our weekend was full of surprises and goodies. Marley is infatuated for her bully stick, great buy. My mom returned from Virginia with 2 stag bars, she is gaining interest in them but the bully stick still reigns supreme, i think its because the bully stick is slowly edible and i would assume there is some sort of flavor to it. she has chewed herself to sleep with these toys, chew chew chew and then you get the eyes doing those long slow blinks .
She is due her second set of shots on Saturday, so we are still keeping her confined to our yard for now. She has had 2 great play sessions with Lu Lu the sausage dog puppy (she has had all of her shots) for about 20 mins a piece, also careful to watch she doesn't jump on her back. Lucy like to grab Marleys little ears while Marley likes to get Lucy by the lip for some reason, also im ready to break it up if it gets out of hand, but there have been no yelps or anything.
We took her for her first drive since collecting her on December 21st, we were a bit nervous that she would puke her guts out again, but instead of holding her, we clipped her into Lu Lu's car seat and it was like Driving Miss Daisy no pukes or poops. The drives were about 30 mins a piece. she did good i must say.
She only had 2 accidents inside, but i will say they are my fault as i took too long to find my flashlight lol, poor girl was at the door ringing the potty bells, got there and there was a puddle. gotta work on my dash a bit better i suppose.
Great weekend, many many more to come!!!!

Oh she is so adorable! Glad she seems to be settling in so well and has 'got it' that she has to go to the door when she needs a toilet break.

Re: Marley has a great weekend
I agree, we did have a good weekend. I really enjoyed playing with her this weekend as she is growing so fast. She does have a good daddy . I too was so excited that she did very well in the car.
She is also doing very well with the sit command. I love her to pieces.
Who knew having a puppy is like having a child. They change your routine (for the better) and bring so much joy to your lives .
I attach pictures of her adventure
