I have spoken to one of our local vets who had several cases over summer but say they haven't seen any for a few weeks now. I did log on for updates from the Animal Health peeps but haven't heard anything since the warnings were out.

I would love to start taking Lola back out for her weekend woodland walks now - anyone heard any news?

SCI is Seasonal Canine Illness which has been reported in certain areas of woods around the country, some counties mentioned in the article below:

It seems to manifest itself between about late August/early September till the end of November.

But I'd check with your local vets if you have woodland near you & you want to walk there.
