Food Help
Hi my 17 week old puppy seems to be bored of dry food. I currently try to feed her Eukanuba medium breed puppy formula, which is what the breeder used to feed but she has been leaving it all their the last 2 days.
Over the 6 weeks which she has been at me i have also mixed in some veggies and table scraps to make it more interesting, however now she just picks out the good stuff and leaves the dry food their.
Any suggestions on what i could do

Re: Food Help
I always mix in different things in Zeus's dry food so it gives him a bit of variety:
- Doggy gravy (you can get this at a pet shop), just pour it over his food
- Raw egg (with shell), mash it all up and pour it over his food
- Cooked chicken/fish pieces

Re: Food Help
As goldie87 says, try adding something that mixes in with the food that he can't actually pick out! A raw egg once or twice a week, or maybe something like a tray of Wainwrights wet food mixed in.

We just add a little cooked cooled chicken to Rockys dry kibble, makes it more interesting.

Re: Food Help
Thanks all for the suggestions, made a pumkin and carrot soup yesterday and added some meat balls and dryed food. The bowl was shining in a matter of minutes

Re: Food Help
Hi all, the addition of sardines and gravy only worked for a short while. Chica seems to have gourmet taste buds.
I have given up on dry food and have moved on to home cooked meals for Chica. She is loving them and growing healthy.
I usually mix 40% meat, 30% carbs, and 30% veg, all cooked. I also add a tablespoon of oil and a tablespoon of parmegginao cheese, and some weetabix . (Recommended by the vet).
