Proud of my Loki :)
It's taken Loki five minutes to learn play dead, without him ever learning roll over . Admittedly he doesn't yet know what to do if I say play dead, but he definitely knows already what he has to do for a treat. Ah, dogs, so intelligent, particularly when there's fooled involved. And to think it took him two days to learn paw

Fab Fab Fab! Moo has learnt 'up here' so if I am in the pub or on the sofa she puts the ball in my lap rather that at my feet! God I sound lazy lol but helps when playing and having a convo lol Xx

Oh, that's a good one Loki knows to touch specific toys I tell him to get, and he eventually started running in the general direction of the toy, and then running back for his treat

Re: Proud of my Loki :)
I don't teach tricks, but I've just taught Dempsey to stand on his back legs with his front paws resting on my waist. I only did it so I could teach him a)to do it gently & b) so I could teach him to get down when he's told.
He loves kids, but gets over excited & will sometimes jump up. Sp at least when he does jump up he does it quite gently & he'll get down again when he's told to!

How come you don't teach him tricks (if you don't mind my asking)? That's clever though, to teach him something in order to help with the jumping. My old dog always used to jump on people, but was always gentle. Maybe his old owners taught him something similar.

Aw, clever Loki! These dogs learn quicker than I do We are learning the commands Dex already knows, but we have taught him wait, trying for roll over etc. We accidentally realised that Go means take off running at full pelt with you attached to the other end of the lead and screaming NO..STOP!! I DIDNT MEAN IT! yesterday....that was interesting (thanks for teaching him that Mr and Mrs Previous Owners )

I think Rocky already knew this one too. We haven't really taught him tricks as such, just more of the things he would need to know. Like sit and stay, drop for when playing with his ball, leave which is a very useful one too.
