Congratulations, I can't really help as Moo is a rescue, exciting times.

If you have any issues you can always contact the breeder, I am sure they would be happy to help Xx

Congrats on your new addition!
Be lovely to have some pictures!

Regarding the kennel club docs, it may be ok, when I picked up my pup, the breeder went through all my details etc online on the kennel club website, so although I came away with nothing, I knew the documents were on their way!

I did however get puppy info and some free kennel club insurance and vouchers.

I'm assuming the breeder has not started the jabs, best thing you can do is make an appointment with a reputable vet, ask for a general health check and first set of puppy jabs, most gets do a special offer where you can get a discount on microchip and jabs!

Microchip is a very good idea (in my opinion)

I think some vets do a puppy plan where you pay monthly and get the vaccs, flea and worm, health check and food samples etc. Congrats on your new arrival, I've never had a puppy but you are in for some fun times from what I hear! Smile

You can wait til he settles in more if you want, but I got Loki's done as soon as possible; the sooner you do it, the soone her can go for walks Smile

Please take lots of pictures and then share them with us Big Grin hope he's doing well.

Awwww, he's a real cutie!

The vaccinations are up to you. I always wait a week to let the pup settle & for the anxiety levels to go down. Actually, the vet I'm with now recommends letting a pup settle before 1st jabs.

You can still take him out, though, just carry him! If he seems scared or unsure, just talk quietly to him in a normal voice & maybe take some treats with you.

Oh how cute is THAT! Adorable.

Yes, get your jabs done as quickly as possible - EVERYTHING is new (and interesting) to a young puppy. The jabs take several weeks to work through so the sooner the better, and then you can get out socialising. And hopefully, at this age, any discomfort (if any) is quickly forgotten and a visit to the vet won't be a frightening thing for him in the future.

I'd pick a vet and go with what he/she says. I know our breeder had started vaccines a little differently than the vet's usual schedule, so different experts might do different things.

We did not get Callie's AKC papers for maybe 2 months? I think this is usual.
