need help for when i get my puppie please

hi all i m new to the fourm just like a bit of help please

i am getting a staff pup 8weeks old boy full ped and kc reg i am going to see him on friday
ok here goes

what puppie food is best and how many times day feeding him.

is there any questions i should ask the seller when i get there.

and we have a shitzu dog boy he is 4 years today gets on with dogs
but a little protective of his food and if you give him a chew stick#

and how old will be best take him out as he will be 8 weeks old now when should i leave it till

As for how much, just go by the guidelines and increase/decrease if and when you feel it's needed. Feed him about three or four times a day, I'd say.

Well, if he's getting vaccinated against diseases, don't take him out until whenever your vet says it's OK (with us it was two weeks after the second needle).

8 weeks old is the age most people take a pup. It allows them time to socialize with their littermates.

Such an exciting time! Hope all goes well.

Firstly, if your breeder is any good, they'll give you a puppy pack which will have feeding guidelines & a couple of days supply of the food your pup is used to. If by any chance they don't. ( ) then you will need to feed him four times a day until 3 months, then three times a day until six months & then twice a day.

If you're going to change his food then do it gradually over about a week.

Give your breeder a ring to see what they supply. You could also ask them to include an old tea towel or similar that has been rubbed on his mum/siblings to make him feel a little less lonely for the first couple of nights.

Our pup is nine weeks old we feed him on james well beloved the one with whitefish in it and he loves it

We feed fish4dogs and were using Wainwrights (pets at home) both good foods just got bored with the latter
