new staffy pup

hi all i have recently got a new pup. and was wanting to know how i go about checking its KC registered and that the seller has sold me what i asked for. what questons i need to ask him cheers

I'm no expert, but I thought when you got them they were already KC registered? Anyway, I'm pretty sure both parents have to be KC registered for the puppy to be, so I'd imagine you'd have to ask the breeder?

The breeder should be able to supply you with the paperwork.

he did show me somthing like a family tree bit of paper. and told me the pups papers will be with me in 7 days time.does this seem right

Contact the breeder tomorrow, and do let us know what they say.

Ask to see his pedigree papers, I am assuming you saw the parents papers also?

A week isn't too long. If they don't come just give him a call.

Both my staffys are kc reg. And both times all paperwork wS given to me when we collected pup.

Sounds a bit suspect tbh.

How old is ur pup ?
Did the breeder say it was kc reg ?

its just over 8 weeks old. and yeah i asked the fella was the pups kc reg

Do let us know, sounds a little suss to me with regards to being registered.

We got the paperwork when we picked up the pup with a family tree. We then had to pay £15 to get the dog registered with us. They should also come with 4 weeks free kennel club insurance too.

You should have been shown mum and dads papers, health checks and transfer of ownership docs , the breeder would fill these in before he let the pup go to you

ok all above is great help cheers. so im ready to phone the seller today and see wat has been done and wats not. but i really want to do my homework before i do phone. so lets start with the first ting that should of been done when i took the pup of the breeder. right up till its first injection and what should of been supplied to me and also what i should be waiting on many thanx mark

heres an update on the new pup. its father name is bold rudbaugh or bold rudabugh. if any one knows how i check this. the certificate name is nicloes brindle babe if any can shed abit of light on this thanx
