People who knows nothing but trying to be smart :(
We went to PAH today to buy few things for Debo. Debo loves in there,he's so exited there. There was a couple with a little mix poodle, when they saw us they smiled politely with a look on their faces " Oh ,staffy !" and kept their dog away from Debo. Fair enough. Everyone went to do their bussiness and we met again at the til. Debo was holding new toy ( he chosen it by himself ),when they saw us they comment " Oh ,we always buy toys for ours at the charity shop,it cost only 30p" ,so I said " Ye,but with my dog it will last a day,so no point ". The lady went to stroke Debo,I said nicely that Debo is a bit nippy ( always do that to make people more alert ) but if you say "no" he will react to it. So she stroked him and he put his teeth on her hand, not like a bite more like a touch and lick. She did nothing ,pushing her hand more in to his mouth, said " He needs to be train before is to late ". My husband try to correct Debo ,pull the lead and gave "sit" command,Debo was to distracted my another hand- lady's husband hand. After Debo did the same to him ,he said " You have to neuter him before 6mths before it's to late ",keep trying to stroke Debo, while Debo tried to put his teeth on his hand. We didn't know what to say to them,we just kept looking at them like their were from different planet.
Am I being strange? She didn't ask if she can stroke him,I've warned her that his nippy,4mths old and still in training >

Nah, I get what you mean. Haven't had the problem with strangers, but friends and family come over and he's excited and playful, then they stroke his head and wave their limbs around while saying "no" in an "this is hilarious" tone, and then get annoyed when he bites or when he's playing tug-of-war with their clothes. I find it annoying that people can be so stupid as to think that dogs neglect body language and tone of voice as long as you speak English to them, as though telling them to stop while you wave a shoe in their face will make a difference for a puppy.

Only being a responsible owner , we always warn people that Tommy is a little nipper and generally haven't had any problems when he does exactly that

Some people just don't bother asking if they can stroke the dog or not, but when something happens it is the dog's fault. You did the right thing by telling them about it.
You should also just ignore people with comments like theirs, as they clearly know nothing about the breed. I tend to just laugh it off these days.
We were in a pet store a few weeks ago, with Maska in tow. There was a lady with some annoying little mutt, commenting on our "dangerous" dog, but in the end, her dog went on the attack with some other dogs while Maska just stood there, smiling no less.
