Great 2nd puppy party in Lincoln

Today Ruby went to her 2nd puppy party, after last times stress of her pumelling the other pups into the floor and us considering not going again, we got in today to find only 2 of us had turned up so it was more of a play date than a puppy party, but shes now got a new friend called Dotty another extremely adorable staffy girl. They had a ball racing around and playing rough and tumble staffy games, just wish i had my phone to get piccys/videos of them. Most definitely pleased that we went back and didnt just call it quits with her mixing with other pups

Lol well i think the other people with Dotty are on this forum so hopefully, fingers crossed, they may have a piccy i just didnt think to take mine. The doghouse did take a video of them playing though so when it goes on il put it on here

we couldnt go to that party either as we were at a wedding..hopefully next time!! glad it went well let us know next time ruby might be in and hopefully we might be able to get sky there

Hello, Dottie's mum here! It was lovely to meet you both and your gorgeous Ruby yesterday.
Dottie had a fab time, it really was rough and tumble, wasn't it? I thought she was boisterous with our other dog, Milo! I think she thought it was great that she could play with someone her own size.
We too didn't take any pics, which is a shame because there were lots of lovely photo opportunities! But we did video some of their play, so hopefully I will attempt to upload them on here.
I will definitely go back and send Dottie to daycare there too!

Yey those vids are brilliant! Will Dottie be going to the next puppy party? I was so pleased how well they got on together,im really quite pleased the others didnt make it! Was really nice meeting you both, thoroughly enjoyed talking puppies/dogs with other likeminded people. Haha they certainly were rough and tumble werent they. Maybe they can meet up at daycare one day, have a day of playing and getting to know each other. We will be putting Roo in for hopefully the 31st or 1st, need to email Amy to ask

I was sorting out Dottie's vaccs records to photocopy and realised she hadn't been imunized for kennel cough , so will need to get her to the vets asap before I can send her to daycare- boo! I don't know whether she has to be vaccinated for kennel cough for the puppy parties as well.....
I will let you know when she is able to go to to daycare, especially as it looks like there is another staffie pup going too

I feel a bit jealous of you both to be honest, I missed out on all that with Rocky as we didn't adopt him until he was about 9 months old from a rescue centre. Wished we had met him sooner then could have gone to something similar. What a great idea they are for socialising puppies at the right age. Brilliant. It alleviates so much hard work later on.

Good on you both for taking the time to do it.

Ruby hasnt been vaccinated for kennel cough either, i dont think she has anyway, it wasnt mentioned when we handed over her photocopied vacc records. Eek, think id better email Amy and make sure! Shes booked in for next week for a whole daycare day.

We havent ever done anything like this before either, its all very new to us, but it certainly seems to be doing Roo the world of good with her doggy manners

Hi Kathy! I also haven't done anything like this before and it really stems from our rescue lurcher, who we adopted at one, being fear aggressive when on a lead and doesn't seem to be able to read other dog's body languages at times! He absoultely loves Dottie, but we would really like her to get used to as many dogs as possible and not just Milo. If only we had got Milo from a puppy but we have to make the best out of the situation and realise how lucky I am to be able to do the best by Dottie right from the beginning.

Kelly, I hope i haven't thrown a spanner in the works! I was just reading the terms and conditions on their website to see if everything was in order before I registered. Please let me know if everything is still o.k. (It'll save me some vet fees too!)

Ive been in touch with Amy, and its a new thing shes just introduced trying to cover all bases with health and safety. Shes said we can leave it til booster time but i think we will get it done asap anyway. All new dogs to the center need kennel cough vaccinating

Poor Roo, she wont be able to sit chewing a biccy up if shes having stuff shoved up her nose lol. Shes oblivious to all vet treatments she has as long as shes got a tasty treat to chew up at the same time

Will you be putting Dottie into the groomers for their Staffy day treat to raise money for the rescue?

Hi!!...id like to take sky another day sometime soon and it would be great if ruby ( and dottie!) were there...keep in touch and i will try get sky in too
