Puppy party
Looking forward to Rubys first puppy party taking place on 7th July in Lincoln, going to get her registered with the dog creche next week so all her paperwork is sorted ready for the fun and games to begin what a brilliant idea for socialising, never done anything like this before with any of our dogs in the past so its going to be new to all of us! Cant wait...

Re: Puppy party
That sounds fab! I haven't been myself but certainly would if I had a pup! Excellent for socialising.
If you get a chance, some pics would be just great

Re: Puppy party
Will certainly be trying to get some pics, though i imagine most will be blurry shots of a bouncing heap of puppies the dog creche will be taking pics too i think to put on their website. Its the first puppy party they are doing, so are trying to get plenty of interest. At just £6 per session for all that great socialising and fun for the dog (and no doubt owners too) i think its a fab idea. I think im more excited than Ruby would be if she knew what was coming

Re: Puppy party
its at The Doghouse, dont think they have been up and running for long but their first puppy party is on saturday 7th july, £6 per puppy with games and prizes etc, think they are looking to do them once a fortnight for pups who are aged up to 6 months as soon as they are vaccinated they can start going heres a link to their website. we are coming from hemswell cliff near gainsborough to go there. we are getting all her details booked in next week, and we will also be putting Ruby into daycare once or twice a month more for socialisation than anything, but it also means we can use them if we ever want a family day out and not want to worry about her being stuck at home alone for hours on end.

Re: Puppy party
Sounds like an excellent idea to me. A great way to socialise your puppy and meet up with people in the same situation.
That is definatly something we would have done with Rocky if we had known him when he was a puppy.

Re: Puppy party
sky is booked in to spend half a day there on 17th of july whilst me and my partner are off for the week so we can go for lunch! haha..Thankyou for enlightening us about the dog house. The dog walking etc seem like decent prices too if we are ever stuck!

Re: Puppy party
We took Roo in for her assessment yesterday and to get her booked in for a days daycare on Thursday, she said hello to Noodle the labradoodle and climbed all over him lol, and said hello to some of the other dogs in care yesterday through the gate, lots of sniffing, some awful high pitched yapping and pawing at them but it seemed ok. So, Thursday shes in for her 1st day, and Saturday shes at the puppy party hope she does well. They are so friendly there, and it seems a lovely place for dogs to play and spend their day socialising.

Re: Puppy party
The parties are really worth it, you gain alot from it as well as your dog. I took marley to them at my vets and they were fantastic. I have Laska booked in for them at end of July also. Another plus with haveing them at the Vet's is that if your dog is ever ill and needs a trip there they will be in familiar surroundings around people they already know. Marley cant wait to go for his health checks and practically drags me through the door. one of the best things you can do for your pup imo
