It's me and my puppy the monster .on't know what to do. He bites a lot. Can't pat pat him, when he's playing with his toy and my hand is near he would go for it .I can say aaaa, go away, when I'm back, he would bite even harder and I can do it long time and he doesn't get tthe message. He would bark. So is really bored and ready to go outside ( he can't till next sat.). Or is it my husband game where he tease him with his hands ,push him around etc, so when plys with me he thinks I'm playing the same game. We play with him using his toys, teach him new things,he respond very well to trainig and it's me who mainly do it. I want take him to puppy classes. Please help.

Re: Biting...AAAAA
At 9 weeks the biting is very, very normal.
The best way to deal with it is that when he bites say "no" & stop playing with him immediately, turn away from him & don't even look at him. If he carries on just pick him up & take him out of the room for a couple of minutes. When he is calm give him quiet praise. BUT everybody must do the same thing.

I do the same as Caryll and would add please caution your OH about playing with him like that. Your pup is learning what is and isn't acceptable and can be confused if there are different rules for different people.

totally agree with caryll, i've done the same and it worked a treat. taking zeus out of the room when he goes on a mad one is perfect as he comes back in very calm and well mannered

Re: Biting...AAAAA
ok, he's such a strong character but I think I found the solution- a little spray water bottle. I've got it hidden in my pocket and every time he goes for my hand I say no and spray him but without him seeing where the water's coming from and without looking at him so he doesn't think it's a confrontation,it seems to work

I don't think there's any need for such a drastic solution with such a young puppy! You will end up making him nervous/head shy.
If you tell him no & then stop all interraction with him until he's calm he'll soon learn & will be a much happier dog.
